YOUTHBUILD PILOT GRADUATION 17 JUNE 2016

The first 46 students of our 2016 YouthBuild Bahamas Pilot program graduated on the 17 June 2016.
We are immensly proud of what the students achieved. As well as completing all the required components of the program, the students were also involved in several Community Service Projects and Community Asset Building Projects.
​
We are also proud that many of our students have been placed in jobs, internships, or further education and you can see their placement details here!

DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE

Congratulations to the Class of 2016!
​
Commencement is a significant milestone in your life. Please accept my sincere best wishes and hopes for you and your future. I am confident that as you leave YouthBuild, you will be well prepared for your next step - whether that is starting your career of continuing your studies. It is my prayer that the training and exposure you have received along with your YouthBuild experiences has helped you grow professionally, personally, intellectually and spiritually. It is my hope that you will use your training to express your abilities and talents where ever the road takes you. The Bahamas needs more young people like you who are committed to make a difference in your communities.

As you begin these next steps in your life's journey, remember, that you will always have a home and family here at YouthBuild Bahamas. In your future, I hope you will stay connected to YouthBuild, to the staff who have coached you along the way and to the friends with whom you have shared this time together. it is our hope that the relationships you've established during your time with YBB will have a lasting impact.
